We’re Back!!!

After almost three months, Immanuel is able to gather again in person on Sunday mornings, beginning this Sunday, June 7 th , at 10am. (But we need you there by 9:45!)

Respecting Washington State’s guidelines for regathering…

* Our congregation will be limited to no more than 50 people per service.
* Those attending will practice social distancing as you enter, exit, and in your seating.

* All will be required to wear a mask.

Feeling an equal responsibility for the physical as well as the spiritual well-being of our church and our community, we are encouraging those people of all ages with underlying medical conditions to continue to “shelter in place” for their own well-being and that of others.

This includes those with chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma, people who have serious heart conditions, people who are immunocompromised, those with severe obesity, people with diabetes, those with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis, and people with liver disease.

As we see how things go, we look forward to the day we are all able to be together.
Recognizing this unique season we find ourselves in…

* Initially, there will be no children’s ministries because it’s difficult for children to practice social distancing. Thus, families will sit together. We will plan the services with a sensitivity and awareness of the special presence of our little ones.

* Reservations will be made on a first come first serve basis by calling the church office (360-533-2012) and leaving a message or sending an email to the church (secretary@ghibc.com). Please indicate how many will be in your party. We will begin taking reservations on Tuesday morning at 8am.

* We are excited to continue live streaming as a new ministry of Immanuel. With that in mind, we need you to be in the sanctuary ready to go at 9:45am.

* With only 50 people per service, we anticipate adding another service soon. Also those who aren’t in the first fifty, immediately go to the front of the line for next Sunday’s service.

Thank you for your prayers, support and patience during these days.

RE-Entry Begins June 7!

Immanuel will begin gathering for worship again, starting Sunday, June 7!

Following Governor Inslee’s guidelines, our gatherings will be limited to groups of no greater than 50. Our first step to re-entry is holding one service on June 7. Look for fuller communication early next week to hear more about our re-entry process, and **how to make reservations to attend one of the services**.

Thank you for your prayers and support during these unique days in which we find ourselves. You can be assured that every precaution will be taken to protect you and others, including constant cleaning with disinfectant and social distancing.

Our live-stream ministry will also continue here and on Facebook. This new ministry has more than doubled those we normally reach on a Sunday morning! We’re grateful for folks listening all over North America!

We’ll look forward to sharing more with you in the coming days!
