ASSOCIATE PASTOR (Part-time) JEFF JOHNSON
Hi, my name is Jeff Johnson, and I am the part-time Associate Pastor here at Immanuel Baptist Church. I grew up in Hoquiam and have lived here my whole life. The only time I've lived elsewhere was my time up at Western Washington University in Bellingham. I graduated from Western with a degree in Accounting. The past few years at Immanuel have been wonderful for me and allowed me to grow as a Pastor.
I enjoy all sorts of activities. The three sports I enjoy playing most are golf, basketball, and soccer. I like collecting baseball cards. My favorite movie is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original). I'm a big board game fan. My favorite board game definitely has to be Axis and Allies. Anyways, I know I've been called to be a pastor since my freshman year of high school. The summer before I entered high school was the best summer of my life and a unique time when the Lord really drew me to Himself. The greatest experiences that I have had as a youth minister are when young people have come to me desiring to talk about what God is doing in their life. I am also a full-time student at Multnomah Biblical Seminary in Portland and substitute teacher with the Hoquiam School District.
