SUNDAY SCHOOL: 9:30 a.m.
Using creative, appealing, age-appropriate curriculum and teaching techniques that appeal to today's child, IBC's Sunday school program seeks to partner with moms and dads to help children ages two thru sixth grade build a biblical worldview based on four main cornerstones:
* The Bible - raising a child's acceptance of and reliance upon Scripture as a trustworthy source of direction, wisdom, and truth.
* Basic Knowledge of biblical Content - leading children to not only endorse the Bible as a "good book," but to also know and grasp its teaching so well that they can readily call upon its principles in any situation. our goal is to teach kids ways that connect biblical principles with their personal life circumstances.
* Identifying Organizing Principles - tying biblical content together into a logical and comprehensive framework that makes sense and provides practical counsel. Includes assisting children in "connecting the dots" of God's principles so that they draw a striking picture of truth and purpose.
* A Burning Desire to Obey God - facilitated through a biblical worldview, this includes demonstrating a commitment to Christian principles and standards as manifested in kids' daily choices and actions as well as motivating children to always do what is right in God's eyes.
