Immanuel Baptist Church offers a variety of children's ministries throughout the year.
Our Mission Statement: Realizing the immense importance the Lord Jesus Christ placed on children, Children's Ministries seeks to provide a safe, nurturing environment of faith, love, and spiritual growth so that the emerging generation of children will be all that their Creator intends them to be, blessing God and others by who they are and how they live.
Our Vision:
Partnering with parents and our church body to help positively influence, train, and nurture into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
AWANA: AWANA helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.
As a ministry leader for nearly 60 years, AWANA is making an impact. A recent national survey found Awana to be as important to our alumni's spiritual foundation as all other church activities combined. Among alumni who participated in our programs for at least six years, 92.7 percent still attend church at least weekly as adults!
Each week, more than one million kids ages 2 to 18 participate in AWANA. Over 12,000 churches in the U.S. and 7,600 internationally run Awana programs that change young lives through biblical truth. AWANA meets Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for ages three years to 6th grade. Check-in begins at 5:50 p.m. <LEARN MORE>
