The High Price of Youth Sports

According to a recent survey from USA Today, “Nearly 20% of U.S. families spend more than $12,000 a year, or $1,000 per month, on youth sports, per child.” Per child! 
 
Of course every family is different, and needs to come to its own conclusions about these kinds of things. But one wonders what is the impact of statistics like these on our ability to have a “Kingdom of God” focus with our finances, our time, and our energy.
